Details of the Serious Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021. One deputy chief prosecutor said, “Legal teams have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” Scope of the Investigation These allegations come after what police described as a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley. Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January. List of Charges Prosecutors said the forty-five charges comprise: Fifteen counts of assault. Seventeen counts of penetrative assault. Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen. 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration. Authorities have asked anyone with concerns to contact the investigating team.
